Pics from Westfield

Well that was a weird weekend...weather was more like football weather than baseball. Some bright spots, some things to work on. Next week, Paoli!

Pics from Last Weekend

Last weekend was fun. It would've been good to have a rematch with the River Rats, but the weather didn't cooperate. Overall, 2-1 on the weekend is admirable.

First Game of the Year is in the Books

In the first ''tune-up" game of the year, the Indiana Inferno 11U jumped out to an early lead on Linton and captured a 9-0 victory on Saturday at Linton.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed Indiana Inferno 11U to put the game away early.
A walk by Jake Waugh in the first inning and an RBI single by Blaise Oeding and an RBI single by Tristan Piovesan during the second inning supplied the early offense for Indiana Inferno 11U.

Harrison Wright went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for Indiana Inferno 11U. He homered in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Four relief pitchers finished off the game for Indiana Inferno 11U. Parker Stone faced three batters in relief, while Gabe Headdy managed to record three outs to aid the victory.

Indiana Inferno 11U increased its lead with two runs in the third. Harrison 's solo blast got things going. That was followed up by Jake's single, scoring Parker.

Indiana Inferno 11U tacked on another four runs in the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Blaise doubled, plating Cayden Howard to kick things off. That was followed up by Harrison 's single, scoring Blaise.

Walmart Fundraiser

Bitter cold, wind, hard concrete - it's nothing for this team. Great job everyone. Thanks for the long hours - especially Ali!

And, now we know we've got some great bakers on the team. I personally look forward to seeing some of those treats on the weekends.

Two Friendly Games

It was good to see the team together, having fun on the field. And looking good. And winning.

Two friendlies against our crosstown rivals friends, the Unvionville Arrows. Game 1: 9-5, good guys win. Game 2: 10-7, good guys again. Lots of fun seeing people playing different positions, [almost] everyone pitching.

I think it'll be a great season. Keep in shape, find some time to practice, and be ready to go full on in January!

Welcome!

We coaches are thrilled with the talent and work ethic we have seen already from this new team. We believe we could be a great team and win a lot of tournaments in 2015.

We hope to get a few practices in before the weather turns sour on us, maybe even a double header or so. We know a lot of the kids are participating in football, soccer or basketball - cross training in more than one sport is really good!

If your player isn't playing another sport, check out all that Diamond Dynamics offers. Randy offers speed and agility training - two things that will help in every sport (well, maybe not Texas Holdem Poker)!

Part of being on a team is working hard to bring your best every week. That includes hard work at practices and in the off season.  Use the time between now and our first tournaments well and the hard will be rewarded!
